![]() But every now and then, a romantic comedy comes along that breaks the mold and gives us an endearing, original and wonderful story to latch on to. Romantic comedies are a dime a dozen, and most of them aren't even worth that 10-cent piece when all is said and done. There's plenty of terror in It Comes at Night thanks to distrust and a killer virus, but it's human nature that turns out to be the real threat. A room full of well-intentioned humans is enough to create problems and fear. That rarely ever goes well in It Comes at Night, in which no monster is needed to create suspense or horror.
